The childcare service introduced last year will continue during the 2026 festival.
We offer free childcare during the Fest Concert and the concert with Vasas flora och fauna. While parents enjoy the performance, children can play and do crafts in a safe and welcoming environment.
The childcare is supervised by professional child carers. Places are limited and advance registration is required.

With Korsholm Music Festival’s special daytime concert offer, you can enjoy two unique concerts for the price of one.
The first concert is Wings of Light, taking place at the Baptist Church on 27 July at 3:00 pm. The acclaimed Stenhammar Quartet performs a programme featuring music by Wilhelm Stenhammar, Maurice Ravel, and Nicky Sohn.
The second concert is Woodwinds on Wheels, held at the Vaasa Car & Motor Museum on 28 July at 1:00 pm. The concert features Artemis Wind Quintet and includes works by Carl Nielsen, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Sergei Prokofiev.

This year’s edition of the Korsholm Music Festival has now come to an end – and what a festival it has been!
The festival week was a great success, with no fewer than 13 sold-out concerts – a wonderful testament to the strong interest in live music and the unique concert experiences the festival offers. During these inspiring days, audiences enjoyed classical music at its finest, alongside jazz, soul, folk music and pop. Together, we created a festival filled with musical encounters and powerful emotions.
Our warmest and most heartfelt thanks go to all our outstanding artists, whose passion, artistry and generosity made this year’s festival possible. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to our festival staff and volunteers, whose dedication and hard work behind the scenes made everything run smoothly.
Above all, we want to thank you – our wonderful audience. Thank you for filling our concert halls, sharing the joy of music with us, and showing year after year that the Korsholm Music Festival holds a special place in the cultural life of Ostrobothnia.
