Classical Music Festival in the Heart of Ostrobothnia

Korsholm Music Festival provides unforgettable cultural experiences of the highest quality. The festival is a mainstay of Ostrobothnia and Ostrobothnians – a place that brings together music, people and the environment. We are committed to ecological and social sustainability, which is a core part of our identity.

The coast and archipelago of Korsholm and Vasa is among the most beautiful regions in the Nordics. The warm, glowing nights of July and August create a uniquely atmospheric framework for chamber music. Since 1983 the festival has invited leading Nordic and international artists to perform in captivating settings – beautiful concert halls, museums, rustic archipelago lodges and ambient wooden churches.

The concert repertoire spans from baroque and classical chamber music to contemporary music and opera. Furthermore, jazz, pop and children’s concerts are a natural part of the festival’s profile today. Masterclasses and student concerts form a key part of the association’s activity and strengthen the festival’s pedagogical and artistic position.
