Artemis Wind Quintet

Artemis Wind Quintet is a young, international wind quintet formed in Stockholm, where its members met while working as academy musicians with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. The ensemble consists of five musicians of different national backgrounds – Swedish, Danish, Spanish, Norwegian, and Polish – giving their music-making a rich and vibrant cultural foundation.

Driven by curiosity and a shared desire to renew the wind quintet repertoire, Artemis Wind Quintet explores both the classical canon and lesser-known works, with a particular focus on music written by female composers.

The ensemble has been praised for its dynamic sound, close-knit ensemble playing, and engaging, present concert performances, in which communication between the musicians is as central as the connection with the audience.
